Cotswold RAW enters the National Sausage Awards (for humans)

Cotswold RAW is spreading the word that our four-legged friends can also celebrate National Sausage Week.

To help celebrate National Sausage Week (29 October to 4 November), the premium pet food brand is entering its 80/20 Lamb Sausage into the time-honoured National Sausage Awards – the culinary centrepiece for the Great British Sausage Industry.

The premium pet food brand has never been afraid to take big brave steps into the unknown with their commitment to actively champion the Cotswold’s rural economy and the local farming community.

Cotswold RAW has also recently been actively pushing to revive the fortunes of tripe, the often undervalued ‘superfood’ of the dog bowl.

Further sector innovation has seen the creative of two flavoursome ‘Wild’ flavours that showcase the fantastic work of the humble gamekeeper (Rabbit & Venison and Duck & Venison), whilst providing an occasional timeout from traditional farmyard fayre.

A spokesperson for Cotswold RAW, said: “We hope that one or two of the esteemed National Sausage judges (with dogs) will be keen to trial our award-winning sausages, because surely one of the ‘wider goals’ of National Sausage Week is to broaden the appeal of the Great British banger and bring more committed ‘sausage lovers’ into the fold as well as get discerning independent food halls, farm shops, garden centres, delis to up their premium pet food offer.”
