First UK Flyball League Championship gets off to a flying start

Fish4Dogs helped a new sporting venture to get off to a ‘flying start’, as the principal sponsor of the first UK Flyball League Championship.

The event took place over three days at the Lincolnshire Showground which was attended by more than 800 people.

The premium pet food company was keen to support the alternative league for flyball racing as it champions inclusivity – actively promoting and encouraging the involvement of diverse groups, including youth and disabled teams.

The organisation, which formed in December 2017 caters for the many types of flyball racing, including race formats, surfaces and competition styles.

Fish4Dogs provided prizes for all the placed competitors and goody bags for all attendees, as well as being on-hand to answer questions about feeding fish and their extensive product range.

The UK Flyball League currently has approximately 1500 dogs and 1300 members registered in 50 teams from across the country.

Jo Little, Head of Marketing at Fish4Dogs, said: “We champion happy, healthy dogs and this partnership shares this commitment. It delights in dogs enjoying themselves with their owners and great feeding is at the very heart of this. The organisers of the UK Flyball League have achieved so much in the short time since their inception and we are pleased to be associated with a group that actively embraces the participation and diversity. “
