Bridget doesn’t want to be all by herself anymore

Dogs Trust West London are appealing for a new home for an eight-year old Staffie with a heart of gold.

Like her name sake, Bridget is at that time in her life where she is looking to settle down with a special someone. She has a heart of gold and is really hoping to meet the love of her life soon.

Bridget doesn’t like to be left alone as she loves to be around people, especially if there is a cosy sofa or a treat involved too. Staff at the rehoming centre advise that she can be a worried girl when she first meets you, but after some treats and a gentle greet, she will soon be stuck by your side.

Prior to ending up at Dogs Trust, Bridget wasn’t regularly walked so she had little exposure to other dogs. For this reason, she now needs to live in a low dog populated area where she can stretch her legs carefree without bumping into too many four-legged friends.

A spokesman for Dogs Trust West London said: “Bridget would prefer to be the only pet in the home due to her unsure feelings about other dogs. She loves to help us out here in reception or in our offices and makes sure everyone gives ger fuss on rotation.

“Bridget would be suitable for first time owners if they understand her worried side. She is looking for a home on a quiet road and a private garden is essential so that she can play with her toys outside and have a little potter around. Bridge would make the perfect companion dog for people who are around for most of the day.”
