Little and large canine companions hope to prove size doesn’t matter

The team at Dogs Trust Loughborough are looking for a forever home for a little and large devoted doggie duo.

Although they may be total opposites when it comes to size, Mastiff Cross Tre and Yorkshire Terrier Cross Sydney are looking for the same thing when it comes to finding a forever home.

Celine Di Crocco, Manager at Dogs Trust Loughborough, says: “Tre and Sydney came to us after a change in their family’s circumstances meant  they could no longer stay in their home. Sydney, who is five, has lived with six-year- old Tre since being a young pup and they have an incredible bond, so we are really  committed to finding them a forever home where they can be together.”

Tre is double the height and triple the weight of Sydney who is just 36 centimetres in height and weighs just 12 kilogrammes, but the team say he is a gentle giant and although he likes to take his time to get to know you, once he does you have a loyal friend for life. Sydney loves to be on the go and enjoys playing with his soft toys. He can react to other dogs so he and Tre would love a home with a secure garden where they can play and relax together without neighbouring dogs disturbing their day.

Celine says: “Tre and Sydney have been through a lot of change but get great comfort from being together.  They would fit really well into a family and could live with children aged 15 and over so we are hoping that there is a family out there with room in their heart and their home, and on the sofa, for both these adorable dogs.”

If you think you could provide Tre and Sydney with their ideal home, please go to www.dogstrust.org.uk or call the team on 01509 273349.
