Pooch & Mutt launches competition to design Christmas 2022 advent calendar

Following the success of its 2021 doggy advent calendar, the wellness brand for dogs Pooch & Mutt is handing over the reins to dog-loving children across the UK to help design its 2022 advent calendar.

Budding artists aged 16 and under will have the opportunity for their design to feature on the front and back of the packaging by filling out the design template on poochandmutt.co.uk. The competition will close on Sunday 22nd May 2022.

From Santa’s sleigh pulled by labradors to scarf-wearing Spaniels, Pooch & Mutt is offering young artists a platform to showcase their best imaginative, creative and fun designs.

Partnering with Woodgreen Pets Charity, home to Channel 4’s The Dog House, every advent calendar sold will support a dog in need, providing every dog in their care with a special Christmas dinner this year.

How to get involved:

Step 1: Download and print the design template and get creative with front and back designs! Entrants can complete their designs with paint, pencil and crayons.

Step 2: Take a picture of the finished design and email it to [email protected] by 22nd May to enter

Step 3: Keep the original design safe. The winner will be announced on Instagram on 28th May and will need to post it to Pooch & Mutt.

Commenting on the competition, Pooch & Mutt founder Guy Blaskey says, “We’re excited to launch our Christmas competition giving kids across the country an opportunity to be a featured artist on our best-selling Advent Calendar. Christmas is all about seasonal magic for our kids and dogs, so we can’t wait to see the finished design brought to life!”

Karen Denton, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Woodgreen Pets Charity, adds, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Pooch & Mutt to give the dogs in our care an extra special meal this Christmas. We work tirelessly year round to provide specialist care, hands-on support and a brighter future for thousands of pets and their people, so partnerships like these make a huge difference to those in need.”
