Terrific trio looking for treble the love in new home

Dogs Trust Evesham is on the lookout to find a very special home with room for not one, not two, but a trio of adorable pooches.

Dad Dougal, aged six, his daughter Sandy and son Bobby, both aged three, came into the rehoming centre a few weeks ago after their owners could no longer care for them. The friendly, easy-going bunch of Crossbreeds are used to their home comforts, so the team at Dogs Trust Evesham are keen to find a home for the inseparable threesome as soon as possible.

Chris Slight, Manager at Dogs Trust Evesham, says: “We often get pairs come into our care but I can’t remember the last time we had a trio of dogs come in together! Dougal, Sandy and Bobby have spent all of lives together and whilst they do like some time apart, they are very bonded so it is really important they get to stay together.  We understand that adopting three rescue dogs is a much greater responsibility than adopting just one; however the rewards of having these dogs in your life will make it all the more worthwhile and they will make amazing companions for the right family.

“We’re looking for owners who have lots of space at home, with a large, secure garden for them to explore and play in. They are fun little characters who enjoy getting in the car to go on exciting new adventures and will bring lots of joy to their new owners’ lives The trio could live with children of secondary school age and older, but may be able to have younger visitors to their home. They’d prefer to only share their new home with each other, but they do enjoy the companionship of other dogs when out and about on walks.

“Since going up for adoption yesterday (26th May), we have had some enquiries so we’re working through those and hoping to send these three off to their new home really soon.”

If you think you could Change the Tale for any of the dogs at Dogs Trust Evesham, visit www.dogstrust.org.uk or call 0303 003 0000. Dogs Trust Evesham is not open for public browsing, but you can still make an appointment to adopt a dog with a virtual matching system in place to help keep staff and visitors safe.
