Ahead of Valentine’s Day, dog-friendly letting specialist, Canine Cottages launched a competition where you could win a free three-night stay from Monday 7th February in North Yorkshire with your pooch, their canine companion and their companions humans too – and the winner can now be revealed!
The cottage, where the lucky pups and their owners will stay is located by beautiful Kirkbymoorside in North Yorkshire. It’s a converted barn with multiple rooms for the pooches to explore, with a beautiful view of farmland as far as the eye can see. It has a parking spot, a fantastic fireplace and ensuite bedrooms.
After 2,650 entries, the winner has been chosen by a public vote. Drum roll please…Jefferson and Harrison, Golden retrievers, aged 1 and 3 from Somerset
After 1,000 votes in the final and 65% of the final vote, the golden retrievers received an overwhelming majority against their cute competitors with this adorable entry, and will be staying for a special Valentine’s stay at the cottage this week.
