You can help two charities provide vital services this Christmas

Mayhew and Crisis, the national homelessness charity have once again teamed up to help people and animals affected by homelessness this Christmas.

The two charities have worked together for 12 years and will shortly be releasing a new range of five virtual gift cards, designed to make a real difference to homeless people and their dog.

The gift cards are priced at £5, £10, £20 and £50, and all money raised will be split equally between Mayhew and Crisis.

The funding raised from the cards will help to buy much needed items and services such as food and warm coats for dog and people, canine health checks and veterinary treatment and practical skills and training and interview advice.

Homelessness is devastating and during the Christmas period, it can feel especially isolating.

A dog is often the only companion for someone who doesn’t have a place to call home, and the critical work both charities do to help the homeless needs extra support from the public during the festive season.

The cards are available to purchase from either the Mayhew website – www.themayhew.org or Crisis – www.crisis.org.uk.
