Pets at Home reveals its Halloween range for 2022

Pets at Home has unveiled its Halloween collection for this year, featuring a range of spooky costumes, accessories, toys and treats.

In addition to the product range, dogs can also enjoy a special Halloween spa package at The Groom Room complete with spooky-themed shampoo and spritz as well as a Halloween bandana.*

Karlien Heyrman, Head of Pets at Pets at Home, said: “We know family fun is better with pets and lots of people will be looking for ways to involve them in the celebrations this spooky season. From cute creepy crawly costumes to pumpkin accessories, there’s lots to choose from in our Halloween range this year.

“While we know everyone wants their pets to be part of the fun, it’s also important to make sure your pet feels comfortable in any outfits or accessories and remember that not all pets may enjoy dressing up. Costumes should never be worn for extended periods of time, and we’d always advise letting your pet wear their clothing or accessories for very short intervals in the run up to Halloween to get them familiar with it, and remove them immediately if your pet seems unhappy.

Karlien also added: “Some pets can find the hustle and bustle of Halloween stressful, especially with unfamiliar visitors arriving to trick or treat. The spooky season does also bring with it some dangers for pets too. Lots of our favourite Halloween treats, such as chocolate and sweets, can be toxic to pets, so be extra-cautious at this time of year and keep them well out of reach from your furry friends. Visitors to The Groom Room will be able to book a special Halloween spa package with their dog’s groom throughout the month of October.

For an additional £9, the Halloween spa package includes a themed shampoo and spritz, SPA™ blueberry facial, teeth clean gel and fresh breath foam, as well as paw and nose balm. Pampered pooches will also receive a free Halloween bandana. *
