Woodgreen have partnered with Pooch & Mutt to rehome dogs just in time for Valentine’s Day

Woodgreen Pets Charity have joined forces with Pooch & Mutt to find dogs their perfect match this Valentine’s Day.

Just like choosing the best dating profile picture, these dogs are ready to charm their way into the hearts of the public with their latest photoshoot.

Woodgreen recognises that people form connections with dogs through their rehoming profiles. Having good-quality images that capture their personality and good looks is key to finding them a new home. Pooch & Mutt set up a photoshoot, aiming to fast-track adoptions for the charity’s deserving pooches. Think of it as a dating profile glow-up for their lovable dogs this Valentine’s. Together, they’re urging people to find their forever love by adopting a dog and putting the better profile picture theory to the test.

Emma Frain, Head of Brand at Pooch & Mutt, says ‘We are extremely passionate about continuing our partnership with Woodgreen and feel honoured to support the specialist care they offer hundreds of less fortunate dogs each year. Ensuring dogs lead healthy, fulfilling lives aligns perfectly with our mission, making this collaboration incredibly meaningful to us. Just like them, we prioritise what’s best for pets, people and the planet.

Alongside the photoshoot, we are providing monthly supplies of food and treats for the dogs under Woodgreen’s care. Additionally, we offer samples for the dogs to take home, ensuring a smooth transition with the same nourishing food they’ve been accustomed to in the rehoming centre. To support owners in maintaining a healthy diet for their dogs throughout their lives, we provide a lifetime discount on subscriptions. This ensures that dogs receive the nutrition they need for a healthy and happy life.

We look forward to contributing to the charity’s efforts and the well-being of the dogs in their care, with the photoshoot serving as one exciting avenue to achieve this goal.’

Woodgreen, the charity based in Cambridgeshire, and the location of Channel 4’s ‘The Dog House’, has been helping pets and their people every step of the way for almost 100 years. No pet is left unsupported; whether it’s vulnerable and homeless pets in need of a second chance at love or struggling pets and owners who need a helping hand to save themselves from heartbreak. Offering free behavioural advice, financial support to cover the cost of pet care and more, Woodgreen aims to keep pets in loving homes wherever possible.

Lou McCourt, Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager at Woodgreen, says: “Woodgreen works tirelessly to provide a safe space, specialist care, and a brighter future for thousands of dogs, cats and small pets. Not only are we a haven for homeless pets, but we’re also here to support owners in need of help. Operating without government funding, our work is only possible through the generosity of supporters and partners like Pooch & Mutt. We’re excited to see if this photoshoot will lead to any of the dogs finding their forever homes.”

Roses are red, homeless dogs are blue.. Could their fur-ever be with you?
