Dog with rare disease seeks home

A "sweet, friendly" dog who suffers from a rare disease affecting her hormones is searching for a new home after being cared for by the RSPCA. Poodle cross Ayda came into RSPCA Sussex North & Brighton Branch last month from another centre. She suffers from hypoadrenocorticism - also known as Addison’s disease - which also affects humans. The condition means the adrenal glands do not produce enough hormones. This does not pass from dogs to humans.
