Superfood feed the “go-to” kibble for breeders

Provides an alternative to BARF diet

A superfood dog feed that was launched last year has become the go-to kibble for breeders who want an alternative to the BARF diet (raw feed). Fallowcopse Feeds’ grain-free kibble has seen an increase in sales as more and more breeders and owners adopt a kibble that has been slowly cooked, preserving protein, helping to provide a balanced diet. The founder of Fallowcopse Feeds launched a search to find an alternative feed to the BARF diet and traced a feed with a sustainably sourced source of protein, with a variety of vegetables, herbs and supplements – including superfoods.

Fallowcopse Feeds is a grain-free kibble which includes superfoods such as pomegranate – a source of antioxidants and a natural inflammatory with antimicrobial properties. Aimed at all dogs, from puppy through to adulthood, including those sensitive to allergens, the grains are replaced with another source of carbohydrate to ensure a perfectly balanced diet.

Fallowcopse believes that a balanced diet for people and our dogs is the way forward and not only for our physical health but also our mental state and general wellbeing.  On many occasions not enough thought is put into our dog’s diet and consequently what we put in a bowl every day for them to eat.

All dogs are different and what suits one, may not suit another and that is why we must think about what kibble may suit our dog’s individual needs rather than the cheapest or the easiest to grab off the shelf.

Fallowcopse Feeds also includes functional treats for dogs such as the calming treats containing lavender and camomile.

Jordan Bogris, Founder of Fallowcopse Feeds says, “The BARF diet is, for some breeders and owners, an impossible task.  I’m proud to be able to supply a kibble that is practical and truly balanced.  We aim to give breeders and owners the confidence that their puppies are given the best nutrition at the start of their lives.”

Bogris, who breeds dogs in Hampshire continues, “the BARF diet is undoubtedly highly nutritious, but it is not for everyone and for some, it’s just not practical. I wanted to find a quality kibble, with the right ingredients, prepared in the correct way – aimed at people who want both convenienceand nutrition.  I’m delighted to have found a kibble which I can supply to my ‘forever families’ and fellow dog owners, providing them with a diet that I know dogs will thrive on, from puppyhood all the way through to adulthood.”

Prices starts from £4.25 for treats and £42.50 for kibble.
